Based on the Decree of the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Riau as of January 14 2021, the Faculty of Economics (FE) officially changed its name to the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). Previously, fake name changes were previously published by universities in Indonesia. The reason for this is in accordance with the name of the Faculty given to adapt to national and global higher education developments and trends regarding education at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), apart from that, FEB is expected to be able to increase its competitiveness at the national and international levels.Drs. Firdaus Ar, SE., M.Si told, hopefully this change will make this Faculty improving.
