Lecturers as academic staffs in faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Islam Riau (FEB – UIR) has two principal duties where they not only participate in learning activity inside the classroom but also actively in giving contributions in research and community service fields, two components from “Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi”, which explained 3 main duties of a lecturer in Indonesia, such as Performing a high standard Education and learning activity, conduct various researches, and actively involved in community service or community development program.
FEB UIR commits to improve the quality of academic staffs through their involvement in various projects, research, and in public or community development programs, based on their interest and expertise. All activities should be linear with the character of science, i.e., rational, empirical, and systematics.
