Economics & Business Faculty, Universitas Islam Riau implements KKNI-based curriculum in the Industrial Era 4.0 Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) in the Economics & Business Faculty and generally in Universitas Islam Riau. Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Curriculum is an implementation of the Policy of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic No. as regulated in Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020.
The teaching and learning process at the Economic & Business Faculty, Universitas Islam Riau applies the concept of Student Center Learning (SCL), as well as problem-based learning (PBL), up-dating teaching materials, students easily access the teaching materials, increasing the number of textbooks, handouts, and lecture modules published by lecturers to support the achievement of graduate competencies required by the national labour, regional and international and integrating stakeholder requirements in courses to achieve graduate competencies according to stakeholder demands.
