Da'wah
Education and da'wah are two aspects that are interconnected with each other. Increasing education encourages Islamic da'wah to develop further. Islamic Da’wah activities such as inviting and calling people to the truth and away from the wrong way is important in Islam, therefore it is necessary to develop that for the advancement of Islamic da’wah an educational institution.
This is aligned with the words of God , Allah SWT, that is : "You are the best people born to humanity, command the right way , and prevent the wrong way , and believing in God." (QS Ali Imran [3]: 110).
Da'wah aims to realize the happiness and prosperous life in the word or in the hereafter which is blessed by Allah SWT. It means da’wah must deliver values that can bring happiness and well being in accordance with the respective fields which is blessed by Allah SWT.
"To be World Class Economics and Business Faculty Based on Iman dan Takwa" which one of the missions is implementation the contents of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah.
The commitment of Economics and Business Faculty Universitas islam Riau for implementation of Islamic Da'wah has been demonstrated in the vision of FEB UIR, that is "To be World Class Economics and Business Faculty Based on Iman dan Takwa" which one of the missions is implementation the contents of the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah.
One of the institutions that operates Islamic da'wah at Universitas Islam Riau is the Direktorat Dakwah Islam Kampus (DDIK) . DDIK is a university-level institution that has been given the mandate to implement Islamic da’wah. It is accordance with the Vision and Mission of Universitas islam Riau 2041 "To be a world-class Islamic university based on iman and takwa".
The form of implementation of the fourth dharma and a vision based on iman and takwa is by applying the content of the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah, providing Global-oriented education based on iman and takwa, Organizing Islamic Da'wah based on Oral, Qalam, Hal and Hikmah, and organizing Islamic good University governance.
Through DDIK UlR profile, hoped for all academics and the community outside campus can get closer the DDIK UlR vision, mission, programs and personnel who lead it at ldik.uir.ac.id
